Authentic and Relatable
Venus describes her journey so beautifully through the episodes. While her journey is different from mine, I draw peace and comfort from her words as she shares scripture that relates to my situations as well. It doesn’t feel like I am reading a book or hearing a distant voice, but I feel like I am a part of the conversation. Venus makes the listener feel welcome. I cannot wait to listen to what comes next.
Raw and Honest.....
What an intimate display of raw, honest emotion. The vulnerability of Venus’ heart is such a beautiful act of worship to the Lord. As I listen to her words, I am reminded of 1 Peter 5:7… “Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” NIV Venus shows us the reality of how challenging this in times of despair but that it is possible in His strength. As the journey unfolds, I find myself awaiting the episode that God is preparing as a victory proclamation, a overcomer's celebration – I believe it is coming soon, my sister. My hope is that everyone of us who have been led to this site will pray for Venus, and in doing so, I pray our eyes will be opened to others in our sphere of influence who are in a similar struggle and that we share this message with them. What an anthem of hope to a world steeped in anxiety and depression! Thank you for being obedient, Venus!
