" We’ve been overwhelmed with grief; come now and overwhelm us with gladness. Replace our years of trouble with decades of delight. Let us see your miracles again, and let the rising generation see the glorious wonders you’re famous for. O Lord our God, let your sweet beauty rest upon us. Come work with us, and then our works will endure; you will give us success in all we do.”

What started as a place of such pain and isolation, at times feeling like it may very well become my burial ground, has transformed into a birthing place of new passion and intense drive to share the messages of hope and inspiration that God has shown me in my own search for healing. I cannot even begin to describe the level of excitement I have had as the ideas have come like a flood. I will say, I do not believe they are mine; I am but a messenger. I can feel the excitement and heart of a loving Father to bring these messages of hope, peace, and light to a world that is growing darker by the day. With that, I recognize the incredible honor and with it, the extreme responsibility to not hold them long..
But as I navigate my own new health challenges of this currently undiagnosed condition, I am still learning my own limitations and how to rightly balance my time and energy, as cognitive function and emotional excitement seems to result in the same type of fatigue crashing and associated pains as physical activity these days. It's a challenge, but will be worth the victory, I have no doubt. And so, knowing that every cognitive and creative task has to be so mindful and carefully crafted into my day, I have modified what I had previously developed as my "3 P's Prayer".
As memory has always been a bit of a struggle for me, alliteration is a helpful tool. I've shared the 3 P's Prayer with a few friends, but with the added stressors and time crunchers of the holidays now upon us, I thought it might be one of those helpful #gems2share. As with all advice, take what works for you and leave the rest. But I do believe all the P's are good goals to shoot for each and every day. However you work them into your plans..
Lord help me to be PRESENT, PURPOSEFUL, and PRODUCTIVE today. Not in my own strength but through the measured pace of patience that only you can provide through the wisdom and power of your Holy Spirit. I want to learn the art of finishing well from the Master.
Make today your best day, from right where God has placed you. There's purpose and beauty, even if you don't see it yet. I promise.
Much love, V
